We make Peshawari chappals the way our fathers knew them, with the comfort modern life asks for.
The Peshawari chappal is more than footwear. It is identity.
Somewhere along the way, shortcuts crept in. Authentic designs were cut short, comfort was sacrificed, and a lot of people our age stopped wearing the chappal they grew up with.
We couldn't let that happen. So we kept the traditional shapes and changed what sits under your foot.
What goes into every pair
Three things we never cut corners on.
Real leather
Premium cow leather, original cowhide suede and top-grain leather. Nothing synthetic.
Made by hand
Cut and stitched by hand in a small workshop in KP, by craftsmen who learned the work from their fathers.
Comfort underneath
A dotted memory foam insole that moulds to your foot, on a firm rubber sole or a light EVA foam sole.

In our own words
Baaz Leathers makes handmade Peshawari chappals in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and delivers them across Pakistan.
We started Baaz because the chappal we grew up with was being left behind. Our fathers wore it to weddings and to work, and it still carries a dignity no sneaker can match. But most pairs on the market had stiff, heavy soles that hurt by the afternoon, so a lot of people our age had stopped wearing them.
So we kept the traditional shapes and changed what sits under your foot. Every Baaz pair has a dotted memory foam insole that slowly moulds to your foot, on either a firm rubber sole or a light EVA foam sole, the same kind of material used in comfort trainers.
How our chappals are made
Every pair is cut and stitched by hand in a small workshop in KP, by craftsmen who learned the work from their fathers. We use genuine cow leather and original cowhide suede, nothing synthetic. Hand-stitching takes time, and we are happy to let it.
Buying from us
Free delivery across Pakistan. Pay cash on delivery, or by bank transfer if you prefer. If the size is not right, we will exchange it. For bigger feet, most styles also come in sizes 47 to 50, made to order.
